I think the Snes9x quite effective the only deficit I'm aware of is the initial inability to play 7z files, but that dll can of course be imported from BSNES, and is a worthless function anyhow as the only ROMs that come 7zipped are variants, and with automatic openers one only gets the top file from the lot.īSNES ought to be an afterghought. This includes every option of default choices, sram, and personal paths. General Q: How are save states made to work on the ZSNES? I've never been able to make it recognise any save after shutting down my cpu. ![]() Ie 'all out' + 'call out' (the US slang) + the Exit functions. UPDATE 08-06-2011: Ton of bugfixes, file above updated. Small update: Running Snes9x through a slow usb pen results in the savestates not being saved in time to disk :?. SaveState functionality added, bugs fixed, too lazy to write everything here so read the ReadMe.txt which is now much better written.īSnes bug might still exist, I didn't fix it but I didn't see it again either. SaveState function coming up next, I'll probably just save in the tenth slot, so avoid using that slot for other reasons!ĮDIT 2: There's still a bug with BSNES, sometimes it does not go fullscreen. Genesis emulators are treated as genesis emulators, although you can load SMS and 32X roms and stuff, the Rom folder is always the genesis one :p BSnes isn't generating a configuration file so I can't obtain the default roms folder BSnes requires the input type to be DirectInput, otherwise you won't get fullscreen mode :p. Regen isn't supported currently since it doesn't allow command line parameters :( Massive updates to the program, now it supports the following emulators: You can redistribute it all you want as long as the readme goes too :P ![]() There's another script out there to do this but it only works for Snes9x 1.51 2 hours to write since I had to learn how to use AutoIt. No idea if anyone else needs this but I thought I'd post it anyway. Now, since I don't wanna use a freaking launcher (they all pretty much suck), I had to fix the problem some other way. When I want to quit, I just press ESC and the thing closes.Įxcept that no SNES emulator closes via the ESC key (on windows). Well, I've been setting up my emulators to work the way they're supposed to, and by that I mean that I just drag and drop the rom into them and they go fullscreen to my native screen resolution with no filtering and the borders turned off.
